9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) grant you specific rights regarding your personal information. This section describes your rights and how to exercise them.
9.1 Right to Know
You have the right to request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which we collected it, the business or commercial purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
9.2 Right to Delete
You have the right to request that we delete any personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions under applicable law (such as when the information is necessary to complete a transaction, detect security incidents, or comply with legal obligations).
9.3 Right to Correct
You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information maintained about you.
9.4 Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We also do not "share" your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by the CPRA. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and provide a clear mechanism to opt out.
9.5 Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information
We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA (such as Social Security numbers, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, or health information). If we begin collecting such information, we will provide you with the right to limit its use and disclosure.
9.6 Right to Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your California privacy rights. This means we will not deny you services, charge you different prices or rates, provide a different level or quality of services, or suggest that you may receive a different price or level of service.
9.7 How to Exercise Your Rights
To exercise your California privacy rights, please contact us using the information below. We will verify your request by matching information you provide with information we have on file. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf by providing written authorization and proof of identity.
We will respond to verifiable consumer requests within 45 days, or inform you if we need additional time (up to 90 days total). You may make a request twice within a 12-month period.
9.8 Shine the Light Law
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request and obtain from us once per year, free of charge, information about the personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year and the names and addresses of those third parties. As stated above, we do not share your personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
